Despite being located on the southern frontier of the continent of Fernark, where five small countries jostle each other constantly,

There, in the smallest and most peaceful Kingdom of Bayr, lives a modest girl named Nikola in a small village, which is the frontier within the frontier.

While gathering firewood, a daily chore, a gigantic dragon that should live deep in the mountains appears before her.

Just as the village is about to be attacked, a man named Haga, who claims to be a member of a secret investigative team called the "King's Seeker",

rushes to the scene.
