Kyuruga

The main character is a male cat. He's a Munchkin, but his legs are long. He has mackerel tabby markings, and his mouth is charmily shaped like a heart. His name comes from the pattern on his head being mistakenly recognized as a QR code (although it couldn't actually be scanned). He loves chicken, and when Pi-chan cooks chicken tenders, he begs for some. When Fuuta eats fried chicken and comes home, Kyuruga persistently sniffs him. He is modeled after the author's beloved cat, Kyuruga. In the anime version, all his sounds, like meowing and sniffing, including the "Brolololo…" throat sound described in the story, are entirely performed by Takagaki.
