Linden de Romanoff and Randall were heading to Teresa Hospital for an inspection, but on the way, they were attacked by an opium addict. The addict initially brandished a dagger, attempting to rob them, but Randall swiftly fended him off. However, the addict panicked and, pulling out a concealed pistol, shot Randall. In the end, despite being severely wounded, Randall fought back and slashed the addict's neck, defeating him.
