BG9

BG9 is very tall, standing at 190 cm.

His body is fully covered in thick armor that looks like a Western knight’s suit.

His face is hidden by a metal mask, but you can see a single glowing eye peeking through.

He has a huge Gatling gun built into his right arm.

His body also holds missiles and sharp, stretchy tendrils.

BG9 talks and acts just like a robot.

He gathers battle data and likes to give enemies choices, acting calm and logical.

Even so, he can feel things like confidence or fear, showing human-like emotions.

He begged for his life when in danger, acting less brave than expected.

BG9 is a member of the Sternritter, the powerful group working for Yhwach in the Wandenreich.

His name is read in German as "BG9" (not "Beegynine" in English).

Some fans think he may come from a cyborg or android background because of his mechanical body.

No one knows the real meaning of BG9’s Sternritter "K" letter or his special ability.

He never used a Bankai himself, even after stealing one.

His body is stacked with weapons—missiles, a mega-sized Gatling gun, and sharp, bending tendrils.

He can also shoot a huge explosive beam from the eye in his mask.

First Invasion: Stealing Suì-Fēng’s Bankai

BG9 fought against Suì-Fēng and managed to steal her Bankai, "Jakuhō Raikōben," during the first Wandenreich invasion.

He did not use her Bankai in battle, only succeeded in taking it away.

Second Invasion: Encounter with Omaeda

When the Wandenreich attacked again, BG9 faced Marenoshin Omaeda and tried to force him to reveal Suì-Fēng’s location.

Omaeda truly did not know, but BG9 still took his little sister, Mareyo, hostage.

Rematch: Battle with Suì-Fēng Again

Suì-Fēng shows up, having trained to master a new technique called "Mukyū Shunkō."

BG9 fights back easily at first, blocking her attacks and turning the fight in his favor.

Urahara’s Strategy and Defeat

With help from Kisuke Urahara and his special "Shadow Drug," Suì-Fēng’s stolen Bankai becomes unstable and is returned to her.

BG9 is caught off guard and hit at close range by her revived Bankai, leaving a major hole in his body.

Revival and Execution

BG9 survives with half of his body missing, reviving through his "Quincy: Vollständig" power.

But he and Cang Du are both executed by Jugram Haschwalth, under orders from Yhwach, because they lost their previous battles.

BG9 begs for his life, but is given no chance.

Fans call him a "Killer Machine" because of all the weapons in his body and his cold behavior.

Some have guessed "K" stands for "Killer Machine," "Knight," or "Know," but there is no proof.

He’s often compared to Shawlong Kufang, an Arrancar who also stands 190 cm tall and shares the same voice actor in the anime.

Unlike most Sternritter, there's no known birthday or ability name for BG9.

"I never needed to breathe in the first place."

During his execution, instead of blood, a substance like oil pours from BG9, making him seem more like a robot than ever.

BG9 never got to use the Bankai he stole before it was taken back.
