Seiichi Meshiai

Seiichi Meshiai first appears in episode 23 of "Futakomori."

He is a member of the Gunma Prefectural Police and works at the Lakebank Police Station.

Seiichi is diligent, courageous, and unwavering in his pursuit of justice.

While investigating the string of disappearances in Lovely Hills, he learns of the existence of the Hell Correspondence.

He grows suspicious of the supernatural urban legend and dives deep to uncover the truth.

Upon realizing Takuma Kurebayashi bears no Hell Mark, Seiichi becomes convinced of his innocence.

Despite the mounting pressure and prejudice of the town's vigilante group, he stands by Takuma's side.

During the investigation, Seiichi is targeted by the vigilantes who wish to pin everything on Takuma.

The group accuses him of being an accomplice to the so-called "child of the devil," brutally beats him, and holds him captive.

With remarkable determination, he escapes captivity on his own.

Arriving just in time, Seiichi rescues his younger sister Hotaru Meshiai and Takuma Kurebayashi, who are about to be drowned by the vigilantes.

While driving them back to the police station, he is sent to Hell by Yasuharu Hasue.

However, before his demise, he had secretly recorded a tape of a crucial conversation, which would later serve as proof of Takuma’s innocence.
