Known as a knight of the Seven Lances, he is extremely serious and possesses outstanding swordsmanship. Having learned Köinzell’s true identity and the hidden truths behind the Seven Heroes, he struggles internally between his desire for revenge and his loyalty to the Empire. After Glenn is defeated by Köinzell, he seeks refuge with the Dragon Count of Ishudeen. However, while he is away reconnoitering the movements of the Rebel Army, the Seven Lances are dissolved and reorganized as the "Heavenly Lance Knights."
He is shocked by the overwhelming power gained by his former comrades and is deeply pained by their resolve to mercilessly eliminate anyone deemed an enemy. Even after reuniting with Glenn and hearing his true intentions, his doubts persist. Ultimately, he decides to fight alongside the "true hero" he had long sought, and chooses to strike down Rangzatz. At that moment, his inner conflict is resolved and his true courage is awakened. His growth and choices epitomize the hero’s journey depicted in the anime, deeply moving the audience.
