Itechō Kangetsu

Kangetsu is a retainer who has served Rōsei Kantsubaki since Rōsei was still a child.

His position is Guardian Officer to an Agent.

The Kangetsu family had supported the Kantsubaki family even before the era of the Agents began.

Because of that, serving Rōsei had already been decided between the two families.

He taught swordsmanship to Sakura Himedaka.

Like his master, he carries deep guilt over having failed to protect Hinagiku Kayō and Sakura ten years earlier.

It is also stated by Akatsuki that Kangetsu was created as the kind of person who could support Rōsei.

Zansetsu Kayō

Kangetsu is the oldest of the current Agents and Guardian Officers.
