Tsujinaka Kaoru

Overview

Yoshiki's younger sister. On most days, instead of going to school, she goes to help out at her mother's workplace.

Appearance

Kaoru is a girl in her early teens. Her eyes are gray. She has dark, straight hair that is cut into a bob reaching just past her ears. Kaoru also has three moles on her face, two on her left cheek and one on her chin. She typically wears casual clothing such as a T-shirt and shorts.

Personality

Kaoru is generally a reserved and calm person, typically wearing a neutral expression on her face. Although she is not interested in school, she is still motivated enough to help her mother at work.

History

Kaoru's best friend, Yurie-chan, moved away when Kaoru was in her last year of elementary school. After this, Kaoru lost motivation to wake up early and take the long bus ride by herself into Kibogayama to go to school. After starting her first year in middle school, she continued to be absent on more days than not. On her days out of school, she instead started going to her mother's workplace to help out.

On the night that a search party was dispatched for Hikaru, Kaoru noticed Yoshiki leaving the house and reminded him that the children are supposed to stay home. When he insisted on leaving, she told him he better come right back.
