Nobuharu Baba is one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Divine Nation of Ishen, distinguished by his large physique and a thick beard, and appearing as an elderly giant. Despite his boisterous personality, he stands out among the Four Heavenly Kings as the oldest and possesses a calm and collected judgment. Together with Masakage Yamagata and Masatoyo Naitou, he was imprisoned by Kansuke Yamamoto, but was later rescued by Touya Mochizuki and his group. Nobuharu refers to Touya as "kid."
After the Takeda household was abolished, Nobuharu entered into the service of Brunhild, where he has been training Rain and the others. When the Order of Knights was established, he took on the role of an advisor. Furthermore, he demonstrated his prowess by advancing to the main tournament in the martial arts competition at the World Festival.
