Nemu Sanjou is a 24-year-old magical girl who lives as a NEET after finishing college, using the excuse of helping with housework. With her lazy but kind personality, she quickly becomes a confidant for many magical girls. She has a unique appearance, with blonde hair tipped in purple and cloud-like decorations called the "Nemu Antenna." She can enter other people's dreams and has great powers in the dream world. Even though she could use her magic for harm, she always chooses kindness. Nemu is the very first character to die in the main Magical Girl Raising Project story, but she appears in later special stories and spin-offs. Her design is exceptionally cute because of her early exit, and her personality is well-loved by fans.

She finds people’s dreams fascinating, especially those of magical girls.
Nemu’s magic is the power to enter other people’s dreams.
Her magic lets her freely move and act in the dream world, which is huge and connects all people’s dreams.

First Appearance and Elimination
In the original Magical Girl Raising Project, Nemu Sanjou appears only in chat conversations at first.
She does not gather enough candies in the real world because she focuses on the dream world, where her points aren’t counted.
Even though Fav warns her to collect more real candies, she continues to play around in dreams.
She is eliminated in episode 2 of the anime and is the very first magical girl to die.
Giving Advice in Dreams
While inside a magical girl’s dream, she gives a young girl advice about serving a princess.
Even though this is done out of kindness, this advice later leads to a disaster for the magical girls.
Role in Later Stories
After losing in the game, she still helps and supports younger magical girls in their dreams.
Her character is explored more deeply in manga, short stories, and spin-offs, revealing the true extent of her powers and her gentle heart.
Magical System Limitations
The candies Nemu collects in the dream world do not count for survival in the real game.
This makes her magic almost useless for saving herself, even though she could easily defeat others in dreams.
She chooses never to harm anyone, despite having the power to control life and death in dreams.
