Mizuki Yuiga

Mizuki Yuiga is the older daughter in the Yuiga family and the younger sister of Nariyuki Yuiga, the main character of "We Never Learn: BOKUBEN." She is a third-year student at Nanao Minami Middle School and the captain of the swimming club. Mizuki is famous for her strong affection for her brother, showing care and jealousy at times. She excels at household chores, cooking, and even gives professional-level massages and haircuts. Although she went through a tough childhood after her father passed away, she found purpose and happiness through swimming and her friendship with Uruka Takemoto. Despite being a side character, Mizuki stands out for her comical devotion to her brother and her cheerful, capable nature.

She idolizes and is a big fan of Uruka Takemoto, her swimming club senior.

Mizuki is friendly to Nariyuki’s friends, but she feels uneasy and jealous when he’s close to girls like Fumino Furuhashi or Rizu Ogata.

Childhood and Family Struggles

Comical Devotion to Her Brother

Mizuki is known for her heavy "brother complex" (brocon).

She does funny things like trying to get a princess carry from her brother, checking the family phone for girls' contacts, and even shortens her skirt or shows some skin to try to get his attention.

She often suggests bathing together and offering to wash his back, showing her silly but loving side.

When other girls get close to Nariyuki, especially Fumino and Rizu, Mizuki sometimes acts like a strict "mother-in-law."

But when it comes to Uruka, whom she admires so much, she will believe almost anything she says—even if it sounds unlikely.

Family Comedy

When something happens involving Nariyuki and other girls—like if he comes home late or acts suspicious—Mizuki's jealousy and over-thinking become so strong that her younger siblings, Hazuki and Kazuki, use hypnosis to help her forget and calm down.

Mizuki has been voted 6th place in both the first and second character popularity polls.
