Amane Fujimiya

The protagonist of the story. Upon entering his first year of high school, he begins living alone in a 1SLDK apartment. He is not good at organizing and tidying up, and his meals consist of convenience store bento, nutritional supplements, or dining out. His birthday is November 8th. During his middle school years, he discovered that the friends he thought he was close to were actually using him as a convenient source of money, leading to his distrust in people. To avoid facing those he once considered friends, he moved away from his hometown and started living alone. He happened to see Mahiru swinging on a swing in the rain and offered her an umbrella, which sparked their interaction. In the "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!" male character category, he ranked 5th in the 2022 edition, 3rd in the 2023 edition, and 1st in the 2024 edition.
