The priest of Yatsuhara. His first name is unknown. He has a kind-hearted personality and, like his son, does not possess spiritual power, but has acquired strong spiritual abilities through training. A deity-level spirit possesses his back, making him appear to have a halo to those who can see it. However, since the mind of a spirit differs from that of a human, even if he likes someone, it doesn't necessarily mean he will protect their relatives. Because of this, Kaname was weak due to the spirit's influence. According to Nyanko-sensei, he is not aware of it himself.
