Tanuma's Father

He is the head priest of the temple in Yatsuhara, and his name remains unknown. He has a kind and gentle personality. Like his son Kaname Tanuma, he does not possess any supernatural powers, but he has acquired strong spiritual abilities through his training. A deity-level ayakashi possesses his back, so to those who can see such things, he appears to be enveloped in a divine radiance. However, since the mind of an ayakashi differs from that of a human, the ayakashi does not necessarily protect his family even if the head priest himself is fond of it. Because of this, Kaname Tanuma has a weak constitution due to the ayakashi's influence. According to Madara, the head priest himself is unaware of this fact.
