A certain merchant runs an accessory shop. While conducting business in Melromarc, he encounters Naofumi Iwatani. During a ride in Naofumi's carriage, they are attacked by bandits, but are saved by Naofumi. Impressed by Naofumi’s business acumen after this experience, the merchant takes a liking to him, teaches him accessory-making techniques, and introduces him to a mining site. He values his network of connections as his greatest asset and holds significant authority within the merchants' guild. Although he appears mild-mannered, he occasionally reveals a sinister side. He is known to be strict in business, and his fellow merchants were surprised when he took Naofumi as his apprentice. He possesses keen instincts and can quickly identify profitable opportunities. In his homeland, he operates a department store. He receives requests to analyze accessories from other worlds and to develop them for mass production. Although he initially refuses L'Arc Berg Sickle’s passionate request to become his apprentice, he eventually gives in to L'Arc's persistence and allows him to apprentice under him.
