He is the Department Chief who supervises Futaba Igarashi, Harumi Takeda, Tōko Sakurai, and Sōta Kazama. He understands that Futaba Igarashi cares about Harumi Takeda and is able to subtly give advice. His notable features are a mustache and eyes that are not drawn. In email conversations, he sometimes speaks in a feminine manner. In the early part of the series, he appeared as a background character, but as the story progresses, his appearances have increased.
