His real name is unknown, but he is the son of the kabuki actor Saizō Ishikawa and the half-sister of Kakushi Gotō. He is regarded as a "young hopeful of the kabuki world." In the episode where Hime Gotō is eighteen, he visits the house in Kamakura to check if the key sent by Hime's mother has arrived, and there he explains to Hime about Kakushi Gotō's family home. He calls Hime, whom he meets for the first time, "big sister." When Hime Gotō was ten years old, she secretly went to the Ishikawa residence in Ueno Sakuragi (although the details are unclear, it is implied that she went there after seeing the address written in a letter addressed to Hime Gotō), and there she passed by him.
