Kurumi Ebisuzawa once had feelings for an upperclassman who was a former member of the track and field club at Megurigaoka Academy High School and still occasionally visited the club as an alumnus. After he became a zombie, he attacked Kurumi, but was ultimately put down by her own hand. In the live-action film adaptation, his full name is revealed to be Tsumugu Katsuragi, and it is depicted that the two reciprocated each other's feelings.
