Potya (Russian: Пётя, Japanese: ピョーチャ, Pyōcha) is Yuri Plisetsky's cat. The full name of the cat is Puma Tiger Scorpion (Japanese: ピューマ・タイガー・スコルピオン, Pyūma Taigā Sukorupion).
Not much is known about Potya. Yuri brings Potya over to Lilia's house when he had to live with her, in order to train under her and Yakov's guidance.
Potya is officially described as a black and white cat. However, it is more likely that Potya has a seal-point coloration, which is very deep brown markings on a cream coat. Potya's eyes are blue, while the whiskers and fur on the insides of the ears are white.
While Potya's breed has not been explicitly stated, it is most likely based on Yulia Lipnitskaya's cat Chopa, which is known to be a Himalayan breed.
