Captain of the girls' kendo club and vice-chair of the disciplinary committee. She serves as the vice-captain of the kendo club. Daughter of the vice president of the Kiryuin Group. She is a cousin of Yusho. Popular among female students. Her charm point is her ringlet curls. Masachika affectionately calls her "Violet-senpai." Since Yusho has no intention of inheriting the Kiryuin Group, Sumire is expected to take over.
