Age: 18 years old (at first appearance)

He encounters Latina during a monster subjugation quest and comes to dote on her as if she were his own daughter.

Initially, their communication is clumsy, relying on a shared incantation language.

After Latina learns to speak, they converse in the human tongue.

As a recipient of blessings from numerous gods, Dale holds the official title of Hero.

This divine favor ordinarily makes it impossible for him to become a demon lord’s subordinate.

An exception is made for Latina, who becomes the 8th or 0th Demon Lord, a special existence serving as a deterrent against other demon lords.

He is thus able to become her direct retainer.

He later becomes the subordinate of Latina following her ascension to Demon Lord.

Eventually, the two deepen their bond and marry.
