Hiroto Suzuki is a brilliant young hacker employed by the Fenrir company, currently investigating Dr. Kōrogi. His childhood was marked by abuse from his parents, who exploited his hacking skills to defraud others for money. After his parents' death, the CEO took him in and continued to utilize him as a hacker.
Hobbies: Takoyaki
Hiroto is a young boy employed by the global IT company Fenrir. He performs hacks using a glove-shaped device on his arm, generating multiple retro-futuristic screens. However, his extraordinary hacking abilities make him a dangerous individual whose intentions are hard to predict.
Therefore, his wrists are restrained, and he is kept under the close surveillance of Raita Oguma. Despite this, he possesses a human side, evidenced by his love for takoyaki and his use of hacking to find lost children. He can be quite moody, for better or worse.
He accepted a specific request from the CEO to begin an investigation. Hiroto is tracking information about a Dr. Shūichirō Kōrogi, and a photograph he recovered from a scrap dealer showed a girl remarkably similar to Hina Sato.
Hiroto's name is likely derived from Odin (who also has the alternative spelling "Ojin") or Emperor Ōjin, who is sometimes equated with the Hachiman God, as the word "Hachiman" also appears in the story. His constrained setting, however, aligns with Fenrir, while his unpredictable personality resembles Loki. Like Hina Sato's surname, "Suzuki" is a very common Japanese surname. This similarity raises questions about a potential connection between the two characters.
Hiroto's hacking ability is an inherent talent, which his parents cruelly exploited during his childhood. They forced him to carry out money transfers and similar tasks, praising him when successful but subjecting him to severe violence for any failure. After their deaths, he was taken in by the CEO of the Fenrir company.
He showed no sadness upon learning his parents were murdered; instead, he spoke disparagingly of them, a reaction that saddened the CEO. This traumatic upbringing instilled in him a deep loathing for the selfishness of adults. He often becomes emotional and struggles with an identity solely tied to his hacking, leading to a compulsive need to utilize his superior abilities.
If this need is challenged, he becomes distraught, revealing his warped personality. Nonetheless, his use of hacking to help people suggests he is not inherently malicious. Notably, he performed some of his hacks in his parents' former home, the site of their murder.
Following the CEO's request, he pursued a quantum computer that could disrupt global stability. This search led him to a goldfish-shaped program (Hina Sato's quantum computer) swimming in the internet's depths. Despite being hindered by a sperm whale-shaped firewall and emotionally strained by nightmares of his parents, he managed to hack into it.
Upon discovering the true objective—the removal of Hina Sato's brain-based quantum computer, which meant her death—he was horrified by the gravity of the situation. He protested to the CEO but was thrown into solitary confinement. Fortunately, thanks to Raita Oguma's intervention, his device was not confiscated. This allowed him to re-access Hina's quantum computer and warn her that the fixer's agents were approaching.
Later, after Hina disappeared, Hiroto suddenly appeared before Yōta Narukami and his friends to inform them of her whereabouts.
