Yashio is the “older brother” half of the Yajikita Siblings, a half-brother to Kitahara.

He and Kitahara are recognized for running in tight coordination, with Yashio often acting as the tactical “control tower” of their pair driving.

Despite his strategic mindset, he also shows a gentle side by giving Kitahara advice over the radio.

This mix of cool-headed planning and supportive teamwork is central to his on-course identity.

Yashio pays close attention to Katagiri starting from qualifying sessions.

Because Katagiri is also considered strikingly handsome, Yashio develops a competitive streak toward him both as a driver and as a man.

He dislikes that Kitahara has grown fond of Katagiri.

At the same time, he has a money-grabbing side, and he nearly buys into Kitahara’s idea that she should marry Katagiri so the three of them could earn together as a “three-sibling” team.
