Commonly known as the "Calamity Crusher," he is a master swordsman affiliated with the Geldwood Order who is also proficient in magic and spirit arts, making him an all-around powerhouse. He harbors feelings for Recuria Lofilardo and fought tirelessly against the Corpse God to save the world. He also possesses the "Sub-Eye" and, through the Order's magic, has obtained superhuman combat abilities. Though praised as a hero and champion, he chose the battlefield and is also referred to as the "Mad Saint."
After defeating the Corpse God, Shagrua Edith Lugrid reads his diary and begins to question whether the Corpse God was truly evil, ultimately discovering the secret dark side of the Order. He abandons the Order, spreading the lie that his body has been possessed by the Corpse God to escape, becoming a fugitive hunted by the Order's holy soldiers.
Afterward, he heads to the Abandoned Peninsula, where he sets out to liberate the land from monsters and undead, striving to make it habitable for humans. There, he meets former imperial court magicians Romelka Rimelka and Easlies Swordfrail and begins working alongside them.
