Houan Kijou, who was set as Tsukuyo Aoba's arranged marriage partner, saw Akemitsu Akagami during the meeting and determined that he was not a bad person. Initially, Houan had agreed to the meeting in order to persuade the temple to close, but he was moved by Akemitsu Akagami's passion and ultimately approved the engagement.
Houan Kijou is also Kiki's senior from high school. Every year on Valentine's Day, it is a tradition for Kiki to throw chocolate at his face.
