This righteousness puts her at odds with her own sister, Mari, whose ruthless methods of forcing male students to drop out Chiyo finds unforgivable.

Early Encounters and Alliance

Chiyo was the first girl to speak to Kiyoshi after his enrollment, and he developed a crush on her almost immediately.

Initially, she held no romantic feelings for him, but her consistent kindness made her his primary emotional support.

Her sense of justice led her to actively oppose her sister and assist in preventing the boys' expulsion.

When Mari tried to force Kiyoshi's withdrawal, Chiyo directly intervened by snatching the form and declaring she would quit school too, if he left.

The Purloined Uniform and the Date

During a sumo-watching date with Kiyoshi, things took an unfortunate turn.

She discovered her own school uniform, which she had sent for cleaning, inside his bag and fled in shock.

True to her nature, she ultimately decided there must be a reasonable explanation and chose not to think ill of him.

Imprisonment and Betrayal

After Mari and the Underground Student Council were imprisoned, Chiyo's strong sense of morality made her a target for Kate Takenomiya.

Kate manipulated her, leading to Chiyo being imprisoned in exchange for Meiko Shiraki's release.

During her incarceration, she was subjected to vicious slander about her sister Mari.

The constant rumors shattered her spirit, causing a mental breakdown and a dramatic shift in her personality until Mari was able to clear up the misunderstandings and secure her release.

Later Events and Downfall

Following her release, she faced petty harassment and was confined to her room for a day over the PBR-sama incident.

She spent that time sewing embroidered victory headbands for the boys and the Underground Student Council, later siding with them during the cavalry battle.

She eventually realized she had fallen in love with Kiyoshi and accidentally confessed this to Hana Midorikawa.

Hana's subsequent sabotage directly led to Chiyo rejecting Kiyoshi's confession.

In the final chapter, a jealousy-crazed Hana revealed the horrifying truth that Kiyoshi was wearing her panties during his confession.

Witnessing this and his subsequent incontinence utterly broke Chiyo, leaving her with a deep psychological trauma toward men.

The story concludes with Chiyo succeeding her sister as the 21st Underground Student Council President.

She appears transformed, having become even more man-hating and cold-blooded than Mari ever was.

Kiyoshi Fujino is the catalyst for all of her actions and the center of her emotional world.

He viewed her as his emotional pillar and his sole female supporter, and her unwavering faith in him drove much of the plot.

She holds a complicated relationship with Mari Kurihara, loving her as a sister but vehemently opposing her methods.

Their bond is ultimately strong enough for Mari to rescue her from a dark psychological state.
