He uses them as living weapons, making him one of the more disturbing foes faced by Kibagami Jubei.

His body is as dangerous as his tactics.

The hump on his back is actually a massive hornet nest, packed with swarming insects under his control.

Hornet Manipulation

Mushizo can freely command hornets.

He unleashes large numbers of them to attack his enemies in a relentless swarm.

Needle Projection

He is also able to shoot stingers from his mouth.

This gives him a direct and unsettling close-range attack in addition to his insect assaults.

Mushizo is a deformed man with a pronounced hump on his back.

That hump is not merely part of his body’s shape, but a gigantic hornet hive.

This feature makes his appearance especially grotesque.

It also turns his own body into the center of his fighting style.

Mushizo attacks Kibagami Jubei and his companions with a mass of hornets.

His control over the swarm allows him to overwhelm opponents through sheer numbers and terror.

During his fight with Kibagami Jubei, he falls into the water.

That moment becomes the turning point of the battle.

Once submerged, the hornets inside the nest lose their route of escape.

Trapped within the hive on his back, they begin tearing through Mushizo’s own body.

As he is consumed by the insects he once controlled, he is left vulnerable.

Kibagami Jubei takes advantage of the opening and beheads him.
