As the daughter of Yousuke Takuma, she was born into a family of exorcists and possesses some knowledge of the supernatural. However, like her father, she is unable to see spirits. One day, she invites Takashi Natsume, who was taking shelter from the rain near her house, into her home. At that time, she mistakes Madara for a Scottish Fold cat.
Recently, her family has been experiencing a series of mysterious phenomena, for which they have asked Shuuichi Natori, the exorcist, to investigate. This episode is depicted in chapter 60-2 of volume 15 of the manga, as well as episodes 4 and 5 of season 6 of the anime.
