Kazuomi Usaka

A talented general producer at Televi. Normally speaks standard Japanese, but slips into Kyoto dialect in moments of solitude or spontaneity. Has known Takato since their assistant director days and shares an open, candid relationship. Aware of Takato Saijō and Junta Azumaya's romantic involvement, he subtly observes their future without openly supporting them. Though intimidating and standoffish, he enjoys hidden popularity among Televi's female staff. A heavy smoker and spicy food enthusiast, with a preference for extremely spicy mapo tofu. Dislikes sweets, and his forehead wrinkles when he eats them.
