Azuzu Komagome is one of the Valkyries featured in the anime *Warlords of Sigrdrifa*. She is recognizable by her wavy semi-long white hair styled into a side-tail.

She is affectionately nicknamed "Az." Her story also appears in the prequel light novel, *Sakura (Part 2)*.

A prodigy who returned from Germany, Azuzu boasts an IQ exceeding 180 and has graduated from multiple universities, a fact recognized by herself and others. She was once responsible for organizing the Valkyries at Tateyama Base before Claudia Bruford's arrival.

Azuzu actively participates in strategy planning and is famously dedicated to the extreme customization of Einherjar Planes. Initially, her radical idea of modifying divine Einherjar Planes was unimaginable to higher-ups.

However, her groundbreaking results have since been recognized, drawing attention from Valkyries across all nations. Her research led to the "Komagome Theory," which proved instrumental in identifying the ley lines, the energy pathways of the Pillars.

Despite her intellectual prowess, Azuzu's raw combat ability as a Valkyrie is notably low. This stems from her mediocre aptitude and a tendency for her sharp mind to present too many options, delaying her snap judgments in combat.

Although it's sometimes suggested she could save more lives from the rear, she stands firm on the front lines with unwavering determination. Her physical weakness dates back to childhood, making it difficult for her to even go out; her physical strength and athletic ability remain catastrophically poor. She does not know how to swim and nearly drowns, but is luckily rescued.

She's also not a morning person, a direct consequence of her late-night research sessions. Azuzu is quite disheveled when it comes to her personal life, frequently relying on Miyako Muguruma, her friend since training school, to keep her in check.

Her sharp intellect often leads her to envision worst-case scenarios, causing her to fall into negative spirals, which Miyako frequently helps her overcome. Many fans often joke that Azuzu and Miyako should just get married already, given their inseparable dynamic.

Sarcastic and stubborn, Azuzu is known for her sharp, sometimes thorny remarks. Yet, it's widely acknowledged that without her strict presence, the other Valkyries at the base would become too lax.

During her trainee days, she once disliked familiarity with others for a specific reason. However, beneath her prickly exterior, she genuinely cares for others and is now highly trusted by her peers.

Ironically, she often finds herself flustered by the base's quirky residents, leading her to be the one shouting the most.

Her Einherjar Plane is the He100D-1, an improved version of the historical He100, which set a world record of 634.32 km/h over a 100km circuit in 1938. The original He100 faced a structural weakness: its main wings, prone to bullet hits, doubled as surface coolers, preventing its adoption as a fighter.

The improved He100D-1, while performing well, was ultimately not adopted due to engine supply problems, with test units sold to the Soviet Union and Japan. Azuzu has personally customized her He100D-1, transforming it into a higher-performance yet more demanding "peaky" aircraft.

Behind its cockpit, her plane is notably equipped with 8-barrel x 3 rows of "Sondergerät," a system reminiscent of historical aircraft-mounted recoilless rifles. These Sondergeräte fire the same unguided rockets used by Miyako Muguruma's Brave Cannon.

During her trainee days, before receiving her personal Einherjar Plane, Azuzu participated in the Second Battle of Hamamatsu by borrowing a P-51 that another trainee had summoned. Since it wasn't her assigned plane, she couldn't pilot it instinctively, and even with her aptitude forcibly raised by a spiritual elixir, she couldn't fully unleash her abilities.

However, Azuzu had previously observed the cockpit of the same P-51 model used by her instructor, Sakura, enabling her to understand its controls purely through her genius intellect. This demonstrated her extraordinary cognitive abilities even without direct training.
