A childhood friend of Myne, the same age as her. He has blonde hair and emerald green eyes. He is well-acquainted with Myne's personality and health, often restraining her when she goes overboard. He was the first person to learn that Myne has memories of a person from another world. By the middle of the first part, he had a vague sense from Myne's behavior that another person's personality had entered her, and he confirmed it by questioning her directly. As the youngest of four siblings, he often felt overshadowed at home, such as having his food taken by his brothers. He was moved by the parue cake Myne made and began to look after her. Initially, he aspired to be a traveling merchant, but after Benno's advice, he aimed to become an apprentice merchant with Myne. He worked hard with Myne on papermaking, cleared the challenges, and began working as an apprentice merchant. Although often caught up in Myne's antics, he grows through her advice and various experiences.
