Lutz

A boy with blond hair and emerald-green eyes, Lutz is Myne's childhood friend and the same age as her. He is very familiar with Myne’s personality and health issues, and often plays the role of restraining her when she gets carried away. Lutz is the first person to discover that Myne possesses memories from another world. In the middle part of the first arc, he gradually senses something unusual from Myne’s actions and eventually confirms this with her directly, becoming certain of the truth.

Growing up as the youngest of four brothers, Lutz often had his food taken by his siblings and found it hard to secure a place for himself at home. In such circumstances, he was deeply moved by the Parue cake Myne made, which led him to start supporting her. Although he initially dreamed of becoming a traveling merchant, after hearing Benno’s advice, he decided to become an apprentice merchant together with Myne. While working with Myne on papermaking, he overcame many challenges and was eventually able to work as an apprentice merchant. Though often swept up in Myne’s plans, he gradually grows through her advice and various experiences.
