Yamada

Yamada is a glasses-wearing woman who stands out for always wearing a name tag with her name. She is most notable for showing up in different jobs and situations, making fans wonder if she is the same person each time. Yamada first appears as a nurse but later pops up as a photographer, a policewoman, and even an event host. Whether she is one person or several is never made clear.

Yamada is a woman who wears glasses and always has a name tag that says "Yamada" on her chest. Her looks stay the same, even when she changes jobs. She is often seen smiling and looks friendly.

Various Jobs and Surprising Cameos

Yamada first appears in Volume 2 of the main comic as a clumsy rookie nurse during a health check-up. She is the one in charge of taking blood samples from the main characters.

In episode 23, Yamada returns again, but this time as a photographer. She takes pictures for an interview article, still wearing her signature glasses and name tag.

At the end of Volume 2, someone who looks exactly like Yamada shows up as a female police officer. This version was shown in the last part of Season 1 Episode 12 of the TV anime, and she is also credited as "Yamada" in the episode.

In Season 2 Episode 9 of the anime, Yamada appears again! This time, she is the host at a hero show, taking the place of a background character from Volume 4, chapter 48 in the comic.

Are They All the Same Person?

The story never tells us if all these Yamadas are the same person or if they are different people who just happen to look similar and share the same name. The creator says they are probably relatives. The TV anime staff decided each Yamada in each job is actually a separate person in their version.
