Marie Amabuki (天吹 芙莉絵 Amabuki Marie) is a member of the Go-Home Club.
Marie has long, light brown hair that she ties into two braids with a light blue ribbon. Part of her bangs are tucked to the right side of her face with a black hairpin. She wears the standard Tatefushi Academy uniform, consisting of a black blazer over a white button up shirt, a golden tie and a dark grey pleated skirt. Marie carries around a brown leather bag with a white and black strap that goes over her shoulder. Attached to her bag is a bright yellow strap with an emblem resembling that of Kishimai High School.
Her Catharsis Effect weapon takes the form of two dual pistols. Her arms are blackened and torn but her hands are still visible. A spine protrudes along her back to meet two small, black wings at her lower waist.
Marie is a very gentle and kind-hearted person, but can be considered a bit of a pushover at times. Despite this she enjoys helping other people and goes out of her way to do so, such as when she asks the player to think of something she can to make up for them helping her carry some books. Marie says that she likes to think that people can depend on her, describing it as a 'warm feeling' knowing that she's needed.
Throughout the game Marie is shown to be very dedicated towards the president and the Go Home club, wanting for everyone to be able to go home no matter what, even if her own reality is not as desirable.
After Mobius, Wicked never awakened from her coma. μ saw this, and she decided to make a special Micro Mobius just for her. She gave her a happy life, with two adoptive parents that loved her and repressed all her memories of her past so that she could live in a beautiful dream.
After Regret and Bluffman discovered her Micro Mobius, they manipulated and changed it into the world of Redo, and invited in many people until the capacity was maxed out.
Marie was eventually invited into the Go-Home Club, and after remarking that the name sounded familiar, she began to awaken to her Catharsis Effect. She collapsed immediately afterwards, as a failsafe had been put in place by μ in the event she began to remember her past or Mobius.
She never truly remembers reality, but she does begin to have nightmares after Doktor and Kranke kidnap her. She eventually realizes that she is Wicked, and she has a crisis because the idea of her being a false self scares her. She eventually learns to accept Wicked as a part of her, and resolves to return to reality.
However, in the ending where she is killed by the Protagonist to escape Redo, she reawakens her memories as Wicked. Gin asks whether Amabuki or Mizuguchi is the real Marie, and she says that neither she nor Amabuki is more "real", Amabuki is simply Marie who hadn't been through what Mizuguchi had been.
In the fight, she uses attacks that she had access to as Wicked, such as Grenade Cascade. Her Alpha Trigger also changes to Dual Trigger, which could be read as a confirmation that her Catharsis Effect was inspired by Lucid's.
After the fight, she says that compared to the rest of her life, the time she spent with the second-generation Go-Home Club wasn't bad, and she dies, with the rest of the club returning to reality.
Marie's Catharisis Effect is exceptionally strong. With her guns and bombs, she's stellar in combat. She has both healing skills and combat skills, making her an all-around character. She specializes in raising Risk and dealing massive damage to Digiheads and Puppetheads at high Risk.
Marie's flower is the Snowdrop, and it represents "Hope" in the Japanese flower language. However, in some cases giving the flower as a gift can be taken to represent "I hope for your death".
