Gerheade is an elder figure among the Fairy Clan, respected on a similar level to Elaine and Helbram.

Her insight and long life experience make her a de facto leader whenever the Fairy King is absent.

She absolutely worships King as the rightful Fairy King.

When the new Fairy King’s Forest was attacked, she prioritized allowing King to escape over protecting fellow fairies, showing how completely she places the king above herself and her kin.

Her attitude toward outsiders is cautious and often harsh, especially toward humans.

This is largely due to the betrayals she witnessed during the ancient Holy War, which left her with a deep, lingering darkness in her heart.

Gerheade has the appearance of a small fairy woman, matching her height of 152 cm and very light weight of 30 kg.

Like other fairies, she has a distinctive floral body scent, hers specifically being mint.

However, the Holy War left her with severe injuries.

She lost her right eye and both legs 3,000 years ago, so her body bears visible scars of that tragedy.

Ancient Era and the Holy War

Around 3,000 years before the main story, Gerheade was a bright, kind-hearted girl who genuinely cared for others.

At that time, she served as assistant to the first Fairy King, her brother Gloxinia, and fought as a member of the warrior group known as the Stigma warriors in the Holy War.

During the conflict, humans who were supposed to be allies of Stigma suddenly betrayed them.

These humans slaughtered many comrades, including members of the Fairy Clan and other races who fought alongside them.

In the chaos, one of the men from the group of a human youth named Rou attacked Gerheade.

This man took her right eye and both legs, leaving her gravely injured on the battlefield.

Rou himself saved Gerheade in that desperate situation, and over time she formed a bond with him.

Despite being on opposing sides, they managed to understand each other’s hearts, creating a fragile but genuine connection.

However, their relationship became tragically complicated.

Gloxinia, believing that Rou had betrayed them and seeing the horrific scene of slain comrades, flew into a rage and turned on Rou.

Even though Gerheade and Rou reconciled, she lost consciousness before she could stop her brother.

Gloxinia killed Rou, and this event became one of the deepest regrets of Gerheade’s long life.

Gerheade has never forgiven herself for failing to stop Gloxinia and thereby being unable to save Rou.

This trauma shaped her later distrust of humans and contributed to the darkness she carries within.

Aftermath and Emotional Scars

In the millennia following the Holy War, Gerheade continued to serve the Fairy Kings as their assistant.

Her position remained high, and fairies held her in great esteem.

Nonetheless, the betrayal by humans and Rou’s death left her deeply scarred emotionally.

She is no longer the purely cheerful girl she once was, but a cautious elder who guards her people fiercely.

When the magical weapon Albion of the Demon Clan reappeared in the present era, Gerheade reacted with open shock.

This reaction showed how strongly she remembered the horrors of the ancient war.

Later, when the Fairy King’s sacred beast Oslo died, Gerheade sensed the presence of Rou within Oslo.

This moment reinforced the bond she still feels with Rou, even after thousands of years and beyond death.

Attitude Toward Ban and Helbram

Because of her experiences, Gerheade does not initially think well of Ban, a former human who is loved by the Fairy Clan and who serves as a stand‑in for King.

She considers it dangerous that a human – even a former one – could wield such influence over fairies.

Motivated by that distrust, she attempts to bind Ban to the Fairy King’s Forest by using Elaine as leverage.

Her plan is to turn Elaine into a new Fountain of Youth, essentially using her as a resource to preserve the forest.

This harsh decision is also rooted in her fear of humans and the trauma of past betrayals.

However, it crosses a moral line and brings her into direct conflict with Ban.

Gerheade also views Helbram as a kind of outsider.

She disapproves of his fondness for humans and is critical of the tragedy that followed his attempts to interact peacefully with them, calling him a “misfit” in the fairy community.

After Ban confronts her about trying to destroy Elaine’s body, Gerheade apologizes to him.

Ban firmly warns her that there will not be a “next time,” and this stern rebuke forces her to reflect on her actions.

Protecting Others During the Ten Commandments’ Invasion

Following the events of the Vaizel Great Fighting Festival, the Ten Commandments begin invading the entire region of Britannia.

In the midst of the chaos, Gerheade takes on a protective role rather than a purely authoritarian one.

She shelters Diane and Matrona’s family in the Fairy King’s Forest.

This shows that, despite her distrust of humans, she is capable of compassion and can make exceptions when she recognizes good hearts.

Her actions reveal that her hostility toward humans is not absolute.

Instead, it is a defensive response rooted in painful memories, one she can overcome when faced with individuals who defy her expectations.

Reunion with Gloxinia and New Duties

When King and Diane undergo a trial related to the past, Gloxinia reappears in the present story.

After they complete their trials and grow from the experience, Gerheade reunites with her brother.

In this reunion, Gloxinia and Gerheade both apologize to each other for what happened 3,000 years ago.

They face their shared regrets over Rou’s death and the tragedies of the Holy War.

After this reconciliation, Gerheade and Gloxinia work together to protect the Fairy King’s Forest.

They act as guardians in place of King when he is away, combining their experience and power to safeguard their home.

Gloxinia

Gloxinia is Gerheade’s older brother and the first Fairy King, later becoming one of the Ten Commandments.

Their bond is strong but painful, defined by shared trauma and mutual regret over Rou and the ancient betrayal.

Gerheade deeply respects Gloxinia, yet she also carries guilt for not stopping him when he killed Rou.

Their eventual apology to each other is a key step in healing their centuries‑old emotional wounds.

Rou

Rou is a human youth whom Gerheade once fought against during the Holy War.

Despite the initial enemy relationship, the two managed to understand one another and forge a quiet emotional bond.

Rou’s companions were involved in the betrayal that cost Gerheade her eye and legs.

Yet Rou himself saved her, proving that not all humans were the same.

Gloxinia’s misunderstanding and rage led to Rou’s death before Gerheade could intervene.

The fact that she later senses Rou’s presence in Oslo’s death shows that she still holds him close in her heart.

King

Gerheade reveres King as the absolute Fairy King.

Her loyalty is so intense that, during an attack on the Fairy King’s Forest, she prioritizes his escape over the safety of other fairies.

This devotion is tied both to her position as Fairy King’s assistant and her fear of losing another king after what happened with Gloxinia.

To her, King is not only a ruler, but also a symbol of hope and continuity for the Fairy Clan.

Elaine

Elaine is another high‑status fairy and guardian of the Fountain of Youth.

Gerheade’s relationship with Elaine is complex because she uses Elaine’s body for her plan to create a new fountain, which is a violation of Elaine’s dignity.

Despite this, Gerheade’s actions come from a place of desperation to protect the forest and the fairies.

Her later apology to Ban indirectly acknowledges that what she did to Elaine was wrong.

Ban

Ban is a former human and a central figure in tensions between humans and fairies.

Gerheade initially dislikes and distrusts him, seeing him as a dangerous outsider influencing the Fairy Clan.

She tries to bind Ban by using Elaine’s body, but after being confronted, she apologizes while receiving a stern warning that there will not be a second chance.

Over time, Ban’s actions and dedication to Elaine and the forest force her to reconsider her views on humans.

Helbram

Helbram is another fairy closely associated with humans, whose story ended in tragedy.

Gerheade calls him an “outsider,” reflecting her disapproval of his human-friendly stance and the disasters that followed.

Her view of Helbram highlights her core belief that getting close to humans only leads to betrayal and sorrow.

Still, his example is one of many that she must wrestle with as her worldview is challenged in the present era.

Magic: Guardian

Gerheade’s magic is called Guardian.

Its detailed mechanics are not fully explained, but the name and her role suggest a focus on protection and defense.

Given her position as the Fairy King’s assistant and a veteran of the Holy War, her power likely revolves around guarding the forest, its inhabitants, and the Fairy King himself.

Her high magic stat compared to her very low physical strength supports the idea that she is a magically oriented protector rather than a front‑line brawler.

Gerheade is a rare combination of ancient wisdom, deep trauma, and fierce loyalty.

She is small in body but enormous in age, magical power, and emotional complexity.

Her distrust of humans and strict protective stance can make her seem cold or cruel.

Yet beneath that hard exterior is someone who once loved and trusted deeply, and who is still trying to reconcile the past with the present.

As the story progresses, Gerheade’s interactions with Ban, Diane, Matrona’s family, and the reformed Gloxinia slowly push her toward healing.

She remains a key guardian of the Fairy King’s Forest and an important emotional link to the events of the Holy War 3,000 years ago.
