The plump portrait artist vividly captures the dignity of Oscar François de Jarjayes astride a white horse. In the past, he was infatuated with Grandmother, who was once known as "Marron Glacé," and he showered her with such affection that she teased him as a "near-sighted porcupine." However, in the anime adaptation, his physique was changed to a slimmer build and his name was altered to Armand. In addition, his feelings for Grandmother were omitted from the portrayal.
