Pet cat from the Okamoto family. He is very curious and loves his friends.
Tama often gets lost, so his owner Takeshi frequently posts flyers with a drawing of his face.
He has a kinked tail.
As a cat, he is energetic and enjoys going on new adventures in previous versions of Tama and Friends. He is a human in the spin-off anime scheduled for 2020.
He has medium length white hair with a brown section on the top left of his head. The interior color of his ears is yellow and Tama has pale violet colored eyes and wears a cream -colored hoodie with black inside of the hood that curves into exterior view over a white undershirt. Lastly, he has on blueish grey ankle length jeans and purely white shoes.
Tama is absent-minded and curious, and often wanders off and gets lost. This makes his young owner hang up missing cat signs around the neighborhood. Tama is best friends with Pochi.
Tama loves all the animals on Third Street and is very considerate of the feelings of others. He naps often, and sometimes feels sad that he is the only animal who doesn’t seem to have a ‘job.’ But Gon tells Tama that he does have a job- making others happy.
