Wan Chen hails from China and is one of the elite Adept Twelve Apostles.

He has earned the nickname "Ground Zero" due to his overwhelming presence and strength, especially in land-based combat.

His main hobby is enjoying tea, a practice he uses as both a means of relaxation and personal reflection.

Wan Chen possesses the power to manipulate the element of silicon.

He can summon giant silicon hands to attack, and when his constructs are destroyed, he launches their fragments as deadly projectiles.

Silicon, being abundant as long as there is earth, grants Wan Chen nearly unlimited power in terrestrial battles, perfectly aligning with his "Ground Zero" moniker.

Wan Chen faces off against various protagonists, including Sasha and Jita.

Wan Chen later confronts Hisashi and Mutsumi, provoking Hisashi's fury by insulting Lucrezia, which ultimately leads to his second demise.

The Adept Twelve Apostles

As a member of the Adept Twelve Apostles, Wan Chen stands out for his discipline and chivalry.

His main objective is to complete the "Witch’s Craft" circuit to destroy the Primal Element Circuit known as "The Living Saint of Thunder."

Training Jita

After witnessing Jita’s crushing defeat by Sasha, Wan Chen tries to help her rebound.

He uses the analogy of tea, telling Jita that hardship brings out true character, just as hot water brings out the flavor of tea.

Achieving His Goal and Transformation

Once Wan Chen’s objective is achieved, he becomes colder and more ruthless, going as far as to abandon Jita altogether.

He attempts to escape to the Adept’s base but is confronted by Mafuyu Oribe.

Sasha, empowered by the Sword’s Living Saint, ultimately defeats Wan Chen.

Resurrection and Final Confrontation

Wan Chen is later resurrected through the Divine Becoming Plan, returning to face Hisashi and Mutsumi.

He provokes Hisashi by insulting Lucrezia, leading to a battle fueled by memories of Wan Chen’s lost homeland.

Overwhelmed a second time, Wan Chen meets his end once more.
