He is an executive member of "Claw" who has a scheming and unpleasant personality. He is disliked by others, as he reports to the branch chief when Megumu Koyama lets Shigeo Kageyama escape. He fights using a psychic whip called "Kara-buchi" (Empty Whip).
He independently breaks into the Awakening Lab in an attempt to defeat Shigeo Kageyama but is captured and tortured by Teruki Hanazawa. Afterwards, he is forced to guide them to the hideout, but he tries to escape into the forest. Using his "Empty Whip," he launches an attack on Shigeo Kageyama and Teruki Hanazawa, but is ultimately defeated by their teamwork.
After the dissolution of the 7th Division, like the other executives, he is expelled and marked for elimination. However, he chooses to cooperate with Arataka Reigen and his group to oppose the Claw headquarters.
