Rio Nishina is a hardworking student who works at the supermarket where Yukichi often shops. At first, she thinks Yukichi is a suspicious person in a cat costume, but her thoughts change after he helps her out of a tough situation with her ex-boyfriend. She is cousins with Yuri Shibasaki, but does not know that Saku Fukuzawa is Yuri’s senior. Rio looks up to Saku and admires her in a special way.

Rio Nishina is always seen in her supermarket uniform while working. She looks like a typical high school or college student.

Rio is diligent and dependable, always taking on extra shifts at the supermarket. She is hardworking to the point that other part-time workers mistake her for a full-time worker. She is kind but also wary, especially with suspicious-looking people.

Rio is a student and the cousin of Yuri Shibasaki. She takes her job at the supermarket seriously and spends a lot of time there.

Yukichi: She originally believes Yukichi is a man in a cat costume and feels uneasy about his presence. After Yukichi steps in to protect her from her ex-boyfriend, she becomes grateful and views him differently.
Yuri Shibasaki: Yuri is her cousin, but Rio doesn’t know that Saku is Yuri’s senior at work.
Saku Fukuzawa: After being rescued from her ex-boyfriend, Rio starts to admire Saku Fukuzawa, liking her even though Saku is female.

Misunderstanding Yukichi

At first, Rio is suspicious of Yukichi when he comes to the supermarket. She thinks he is a strange man in a cat costume and worries he might cause trouble for the store. She does not want other customers to complain about him.

The Rescue

One day, Rio has trouble with her ex-boyfriend. During the conflict, Yukichi steps in and helps Rio by physically intervening and protecting her. This brave action changes her opinion about Yukichi.

Growing Feelings

After being helped, Rio starts to view Saku in a new light. She feels thankful and even begins to develop romantic feelings for her, even though they are both girls.
