Height: 187 cm, Weight: 90 kg. Blood type AB. Born on November 15th. Member number 001 of "XCUTION." A man who appeared before Ichigo after he lost his Shinigami powers, and a leading figure in "XCUTION," a gathering of Fullbringers. He refers to himself as "I" and always maintains a composed attitude with an elusive personality. Generally called "Ginjou (san)," but Jackie and Yukio call him "Kuugo." Their first meeting was when Ichigo retrieved his bag from a snatcher, but Ginjou already had information about Ichigo and Isshin before that. During the training to regain Ichigo's Shinigami powers, he used rough methods such as blinding, but he showed a cooperative attitude towards Ichigo as a comrade. However, his true goal was to steal Ichigo's Fullbring, and after inflicting serious injuries on Uryuu, he made contact with Ichigo by involving "Tsukishima," his own enemy, to avoid detection. His true identity was the first generation Substitute Shinigami who disappeared after abandoning the role despite receiving a Substitute Badge. Ginjou's real motive was revenge against the Shinigami who betrayed him, gathering comrades for this purpose, approaching Ichigo, a fellow Substitute Shinigami, and attempting to use his powers. Revealing his true nature after being cut again by Tsukishima, he achieved his goal but was overwhelmed by Ichigo, who had regained his Shinigami powers. After stealing Ichigo's Fullbring, he activated it and fought against Ichigo and Uryuu. During the battle, he revealed the secrets of the Substitute Shinigami and the Substitute Badge to Ichigo, inviting him to join as comrades. However, Ichigo, understanding Ginjou's feelings but choosing to "protect his comrades," refused, leading to a fierce battle where Ginjou was defeated and died. After his defeat, his body was taken to Soul Society as a criminal, but at Ichigo's request to bury him in the World of the Living, he was buried there. In the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, he was found in Rukongai after his death by Kukaku Shiba, and was forced to train Ganju, which he complained about. He appeared after Ichigo's defeat when his Bankai was destroyed by Yhwach, accompanied by Tsukishima, but did not engage in battle. While the main story ended with many mysteries, the novel "BLEACH Can't Fear Your Own World" revealed that the "past where his comrades were killed" set up by Tsukishima was true, and the perpetrator was indeed a Shinigami. Ginjou intended to confront Ukitake about his involvement, but Ukitake, having released the Right Arm of the Soul King, was no longer able to speak, and his questions went unanswered. However, being targeted by Mayuri Kurotsuchi as an experimental subject led him to be drawn into battle and eventually learn the truth. Fullbring: "Cross of Scaffold" Always wears a cross necklace, which he transforms into a sword as tall as himself with a blade and handle. The blade can converge something like spiritual pressure to release a powerful slash. The handle on the blade allows for changing grips to cover the weaknesses of fighting at close range with a large sword. By combining it with the Substitute Badge he possessed, it transforms into a large sword with a skull design, capable of absorbing Fullbring and Shinigami powers from the stabbed opponent. The absorbed powers can be distributed to other Fullbringers. Ichigo's Fullbring By activating the Fullbring stolen from Ichigo, he transforms into a form clad in armor resembling a skeleton. By merging Ichigo's spiritual pressure with his own techniques and spiritual pressure, he enhances his own power and simultaneously shares that power with XCUTION members other than Tsukishima and Shishigawara, boosting their abilities. He also stole Ichigo's abilities, allowing him to use Getsuga Tensho, which differs in color from Ichigo's, being purple, and in the anime, it is depicted with a black Getsuga Tensho outlined in purple during Bankai. 【Bankai】 (Zanpakuto name unknown) During Bankai, his hair turns white, and his eye color reverses to black and white (in the anime, the eyeballs are crimson), which is because his mother was attacked by a Hollow during pregnancy, mixing Hollow powers with Ginjou himself. Cross of Scaffold also transforms into a large sword with a demonic design. His body is covered with body hair on the lower half, skeletal patterns on the upper half, spiritual pressure wings emanating from an X-shaped back, and a face with a red X-shaped mask, resembling a Hollowfied or Resurrección form.
