In the present timeline, after 21 years, his appearance has changed—the traces of his youth remain, but now he has a thick chin beard, thinning hair, and he has become rather overweight.

His body shape has led his team to tease him about his past as a pilot, and he has the confidence to joke about it himself.

Kenanji Avery used to be a strong and confident pilot, sometimes arrogant and blunt when he was young.

However, after years have passed, he shows more warmth, humor, and maturity. He takes teasing from his crew in stride and can make jokes about his own weight.

He took down two mass-produced Lfrith Gundams—Wendy Olent’s LF-01 by shutting it down and destroying it at zero distance, and nearly defeated the Lfrith LF-03 as well, but it escaped due to another intervention.

In this period, Kenanji was tough, skilled, and sometimes seemed prideful, but he also respected enemies with talent.

The Main Story: Back as Commander

21 years later, Kenanji is now the commander of the Dominicus fleet.

He is much more easy-going and often makes jokes, especially about his weight.

He joins Miorine Rembran and Guel Jeturk as an escort to meetings on Quin Harbor, and quickly senses that something suspicious is going on when the Jeturk fleet leaves its post.

Thanks to his sharp sense, he arrives early at the scene of an enemy attack at Plant Quetta, helping to limit the damage.

When students become involved in large-scale conflict, Kenanji works to protect them as a responsible adult.

He pilots the Begir Pente again to help stop Norea Du Noc’s rampage.

He fights carefully to protect both his allies and the academy during destructive attacks.

Earth Descent and Finding the True Enemy

Sent to escort Miorine and Guel to Earth, Kenanji keeps an eye on both of them—often making light jokes, but secretly watching for traitors.

After learning the true mastermind behind the attacks is Shaddiq Zenelli, thanks to information from Sedo Wanchek, Kenanji and Guel quickly head back to space to report.

Defense and Responsibility

In battles at Asticasia Academy, Kenanji leads his team and encourages Guel to stay calm and not let anger take over.

During the attacks by Shaddiq's team and Norea's rampage, Kenanji stands out as the only one to reach the academy in time, working hard to keep the students safe and limit destruction.

He bravely fights Norea’s Gundam, holds out until help arrives, and continues to protect others.

Quiet Zero Operation

Kenanji leads the planning session to enter Quiet Zero.

When students, including Suletta Mercury and Miorine Rembran, volunteer for the dangerous mission, he tells them,

“If you reach your limit, surrender right away. The adults will take over from there.”

He won’t let the children take all the risk alone.

During the infiltration, Kenanji gives his weapon to Belmeria Winston, saying, “I can’t let a student carry this,” again showing his sense of adult responsibility.

He holds off enemy drones so the others can move forward, getting into an intense fight but staying true to his role as protector.
