A first-year high school student attending the elite Yuyu Girls’ Technical High School, Miku Suride is especially close to her childhood friend, Serufu Yua. Although Miku excels academically, she is called "Purin" because she pouts when angry. While the two used to play together as equals, Miku now feels irritated by Serufu's fondness for DIY.
Miku is confident in her 3D printer skills and considers DIY to be outdated, which has caused some awkwardness in her relationship with Serufu. Even when visiting Serufu’s house, she tries to keep her distance by citing her animal allergies, when in reality she wants to grow closer.
Miku is indirectly involved with club activities; she participates in DIY Club gatherings and provides handmade accessories. As the treehouse project gains momentum, she plans to start participating in earnest. She has carefully kept the materials for a bench swing promised in the past. After the treehouse is completed, she and Serufu look forward to building the swing together, as well as crafting a memorable wind chime.
