Goro

The protagonist of this work is a first-year student attending a private high school in Tokyo, ranked as a Class D "Kami-sama Candidate." One day, after receiving a message on his smartphone, he becomes involved in the "KamiErabi," a deadly game between Kami-sama Candidates.

Akitsu has been his classmate and close friend since junior high school. During junior high, after he punched a classmate for insulting his parents and became isolated from the class, Akitsu was the only one who continued to speak to him, leading to their friendship.

He is also an enthusiastic fan of the popular idol group "Futana Iyo."

His ability, called the "Scripture of the Fool," allows him to freely manipulate the laws of the world in exchange for his own misfortune. In his battle with Honoka, his lifespan was shortened by six months, and when he revived Honoka, he was subjected to bullying by those around him and his mother became an alcoholic. The misfortunes he suffers are not fixed. As of episode 10, due to the effects of his ability, he has lost almost all of his senses.
