Ending holds a nihilistic belief that the only thing humans can choose equally is how to bring down the curtain on their own lives.

He is obsessed with the idea of choosing his own end, and he fixates on Enji Todoroki as the one who should deliver that final blow.

To achieve his “ideal death,” Ending deliberately commits crimes and causes incidents that will force a confrontation with Enji.

His actions are less about personal gain and more about staging a dramatic final scene for himself, making him dangerous and unpredictable.

Quirk: White Line

Ending’s Quirk is called White Line.

With this ability, he can freely manipulate the white lane markings painted on roads.

The white lines he controls transform into cloth-like, flexible strips.

These strips can be extended, wrapped, and moved at will, making them ideal for capture, restraint, and immobilization of targets.

Because road markings are common in urban areas, White Line becomes extremely versatile in city environments.

He can create sudden bindings, trip opponents, or create makeshift restraints from a distance by animating the painted lines.

Ending purposefully carries out villainous acts with the sole aim of being killed by Enji Todoroki.

He escalates his crimes when he feels that his desired “ending” is not being granted, which intensifies his confrontations with heroes.

His fixation on death and on Enji serves as a dark mirror to the heroic ideal, contrasting the will to save others with his own desire for self-destruction.
