Kamakura

The Hikigaya family owns a pedigreed male cat. This cat was named Kamakura because he curls up just like a "kamakura" snow hut. He was adopted by the Hikigaya family at a past animal event. In the first season of the anime, he is depicted as a white cat with black tips on his ears and tail; however, in the second season, he is most often shown as a white-based mackerel tabby cat with gray stripes. Additionally, this latter design is primarily used in the original novel illustrations and other media adaptations.
