Yuuko Masaka

Yuuko Masaka was Sayu Ogiwara's closest friend during high school, and the first true friend Sayu ever had. However, after Sayu Ogiwara turned down a confession from a male student, a group of female students who liked that boy began to resent her, and Yuuko Masaka became the target of severe bullying as a result. Driven to a state of extreme emotional distress, Yuuko Masaka ultimately took her own life by jumping from the school rooftop in front of Sayu Ogiwara. This tragedy left a deep wound in Sayu Ogiwara's heart, casting a long shadow over her for years and ultimately triggering her decision to run away from home.
