Daisuke Tachibana

While still a university student, Daisuke Tachibana is also the son of “Tachibana Secondhand Bookstore,” a place filled with the charm of old books. He acts as a reliable confidant for Kotarō Azumi, with whom he can discuss anything from novels to romance. When Kotarō is troubled about where to go on a date, Daisuke readily offers his family’s shop as a place, turning it into a secret hideout for just the two of them. Furthermore, after Kotarō faces disappointment in his high school entrance exams, Daisuke passionately encourages him to turn his bitter experiences into a story through novel writing, drawing from his own similar hardships.
