Hirama Jusuke is an assistant to the vice-commander and an accountant of The Blue Wolves of Mibu. He frequently appears together with Hirayama Gorō.
During the Serizawa Kamo assassination incident, he was originally scheduled to be assassinated by Harada Sanosuke. However, because Hirayama was killed and escaped, Hirama Jusuke was assassinated by Nagakura Shinpachi, who was present at the scene.
