Becoming a SERN Rounder

Moeka’s real mission is to find the IBN 5100 for SERN.

She acts under her code name “M4” and keeps her real job a secret from Okabe and others.

Depending on the timeline, she sometimes does tragic things like killing Mayuri Shiina under orders or taking her own life if she loses contact with FB.

Different Timelines

In the Steins;Gate world line, Moeka works as a regular person at the Braun Tube Workshop.

In some world lines, she appears as a SERN Rounder and may become involved in dramatic or violent situations.

In the alpha world line, if she loses contact with FB, she falls into despair and dies by suicide.

Story in “Steins;Gate 0”

In “Steins;Gate 0,” Moeka is mostly not in contact with the lab members.

She is not supposed to get involved with Okabe and the others on the beta timeline.

However, Okabe sees her at a university conference.

Later, Hashida Itaru asks her to help search for Kagari Shiina.

She becomes involved again, working with Okabe and others.

Together, they follow leads and even work as bodyguards for Maho Hiyajo and Mayuri Shiina.
