Amyu is a talented student at the Imperial Rodnea Magic Academy. She was born to parents who were an adventurer and a guild worker, making her a commoner, but her skill with four-element magic made her a target of special attention. Amyu has a high sense of pride, a strong personality, and a passion for battle. She looks very similar to Seika Lamprogue's lost sister and Seika’s former apprentice who betrayed him, which surprises Seika when they first meet. After being targeted for assassination by a faction against heroes, she is saved by Seika and leaves the academy with him, learning for the first time about her role as a hero candidate.
Amyu has a striking appearance that makes her stand out among her classmates. Except for her hair color, her face is almost identical to the sister Seika lost as a child and to Seika’s former beloved apprentice. When Seika sees her for the first time, he is very surprised because of this resemblance.

A group inside the empire who do not want heroes attempts to kill Amyu. Seika steps in just in time to save her, forcibly rescuing her. This rescue leads to both of them practically leaving the academy, and it is then Amyu learns, for the first time, that people consider her a hero.
Because she grew up around adventurers, Amyu is comfortable with crude jokes and conversation.
